First-party marketing-attribution cookies

When you land on this site we set first-party cookies (and matching browser localStorage values) prefixed wml_. These remember how you found us so that, if you submit the comparison form, we can attribute the enquiry to the right campaign. They store marketing attribution values such as the campaign source, medium and term (UTM values) and advertising click identifiers (for example Google and Meta click ids), plus the landing page you arrived on.

These wml_* cookies are set for 90 days and are scoped to this website only — they are not shared with unrelated third parties.

Analytics and tag-manager cookies

We may enable a tag manager and analytics in future. When we do, it may set additional cookies — for example Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (used to distinguish visitors and sessions), typically lasting up to 24 months. This tagging is currently disabled and no such cookies are set until it is switched on; this policy will be updated at that point.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the wml_* cookies will not stop the form working — it only affects how accurately we can attribute your enquiry to a marketing campaign.
